Fixed seat rowing is the fastest growing form of rowing in the UK which offers a fun, safe, exciting and challenging experience for all to enjoy should that be for a inter company challenge, raising money for charity or a team building activity. The boats we use are great for new starters or the team who is looking for the ultimate endurance challenge. We offer a verity of challenges / events from a 3 hours events, sight seeing row down the river Thames to a 1 or 2 day challenge between Oxford and the Thames Barrier.
The Thames Barrier Rowing Challenge - Fundraising Event - Now Recruiting for 2020
The Barrier Challange is an 8.5 miles row on the River Thames from Crossness through the Thames Barrier past the 02 Arena with the finish at The AHOY Centre in Greenwich.
The Challenges are run on various dates between May and November with up to 15 teams taking part in each Challenge. The money raised by each team provides vital funding to enable
The AHOY Charity
to continue their work with disadvantaged young people and disabled people. Without this funding they would not be able to continue the fantastic work they do.
