If it’s a media boat to film from, or a craft for photographers to get the best possible PR shots, you’ve come to the right place. We provide filming boat hire for a vast range of productions and projects on the River Thames. Thames Active can provide media boat hire for filming purposes with a number of boats available. We’ve provided filming boat hire for a large number of well known production companies and organisations over recent years for TV, feature films, children's TV, PR shoots and corporate videos.
Event Marshalling
Over the years we have supplied commercial Safety boats to many events from the Queens Diamond Jubilee, Cross Channel Rowing, Charity Events and many more. Our team does not only consist of skippers with a wealth of knowledge in this area but the team also hold 15 years of experience in planning, organising and delivering river based events for over 200 + people. Commercial Safety / Rescue Boats
Thames Active can also provide safety boat provision for various marine activities e.g. construction works, civil engineering, environmental projects on the river Thames. As part of our safety boat hire services, as standard, all our boats come with a competent and qualified helm; however additional crew can also be provided as and where required.
