Thames Active has always taken your privacy seriously and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into force on the 25th May 2018, we are updating our records. GDPR applies to all organisations that process data, regardless of size or legal status.
We only e-mail information to those who have positively consented to receive information via our website or/and on the course booking form.
Data we hold is only retained for our own purposes to update you about new products, special offers and company news and is not shared with any third parties apart from the Royal Yachting Association who only use the information to record certification and not for sharing or marketing purposes. We retain only basic information that may include your name, address, phone number, e-mail addresses. Should we decide to change our use of your data we will contact you first. If you take no action, we will remove you from all mailings lists by the end of May 2018 and you will not receive any further emails.
